Calculate how many cubic meters and liters of water a rectangular pool holds, based on length, width and depth.
For a rectangular pool with a flat or sloped bottom, the volume is length times width times average depth:
One cubic meter equals 1,000 liters, so a pool of 25.2 m³ holds 25.2 × 1,000 = 25,200 liters of water.
Use the average of the shallowest and deepest depth as the "average depth" in the calculator. This gives a good estimate for most evenly sloping pools.
Dosing of chlorine and other chemicals depends on the product type and desired chlorine level — always follow the dosing instructions on the product based on your pool's volume in cubic meters, liters or gallons.
