Calculate the total cost of leasing a car, based on monthly payment, term and any upfront cost.
The calculator multiplies the monthly payment by the number of months, and adds the upfront cost:
With a monthly payment of $450 over 36 months and $2,000 upfront, the total cost is $2,000 + 36 × $450 = $18,200.
It depends on the car's depreciation, interest rates, and how long you plan to keep the car. Leasing often gives a lower monthly expense, but you don't own the car at the end of the agreement.
Most lease agreements have a mileage limit. If you drive more, you'll normally have to pay an additional rate per mile over the limit at the end of the agreement.
