How it's calculated
Easter is a "moveable feast" — its date isn't fixed on the calendar but is calculated from a church rule tied to lunar phases (the Gregorian Easter algorithm). All the other Easter-related days (Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, etc.) are fixed offsets counted from Easter Sunday.
